B.S.

The B.S. in Health Science degree is founded in science, humanities and social sciences, and business, and designed specifically to provide students with a broad-based education in preparation for a wide spectrum of health services occupations or post-baccalaureate study. This is not a technical degree, nor is it designed specifically to prepare students for entrance into medical school.

PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS

Students must complete set of prerequisite and core courses. In addition, students must also elect 2 concentrations. Each concentration is comprised of 15 credits.

  • Public Health (USF Tampa)
  • Communication Sciences and Disorders
    The CSD concentration allows students to move on to graduate studies in speech pathology and audiology or into a career as a speech pathologist assistant. USFSP offers the Case Studies Capstone so students can successfully sit for the  Speech Language Therapy Assistant licensure.

Depending on the selected concentration(s), students will complete one capstone course or internship for the program.
