BOATHOUSE

(WATERFRONT)

Campus Recreation offers students, members, and their guests a multitude of activities at our waterfront facility.  Whether you’re looking to relax on the beach, learn to sail, or take one of our kayaks out for a paddle we’ve something for you.

Our waterfront facility provides access to kayaks, canoes, paddle boards, and sail boats.

Contact the Campus Recreation Hotline at 727-873-4589 for more information.

GET INTO THE BLUE

Paddle in Tampa Bay

Students, members, and up to three guests per member are welcome to come down to the waterfront to check out canoes, kayaks, and paddle boards any time we are open.  Our skilled staff will help outfit you.

Sail a Flying Junior Sailboat

Completion our sailing lessons and an active Campus Recreation Membership will provide participants access to our Recreational Dinghy Fleet.

SKIPPER CERTIFICATION

Already know how to sail?

If you feel you already have the skills to sail our recreational dinghy or keelboat fleets you must complete a one-time Skipper’s Certification sail with a member of the Campus Recreation waterfront Staff.

The Skippers Certification is a hour long session that covers rigging and sailing one of our boats.

Skipper’s Certifications are $25 and can be scheduled by contacting the Campus Recreation Hotline at 727-873-4589.
