The University of South Florida St. Petersburg has a Victim Advocate that is available to provide information, community referrals, and crisis response to all USFSP students who may be victims of crime (i.e., date rape, assault, domestic violence).

Additional Victim Advocate Information and Referral Sources
- Sexual Assault Victim Examinations (SAVE): Suncoast Center‘s Sexual Assault Services of Pinellas County provides free forensic examinations up to five days post-assault to collect evidence. This can be done regardless of if the individual has reported their assault to law enforcement. Suncoast Center also has Advocates who can accompany individuals to report the sexual assault to law enforcement, apply for an injunction (restraining order), and more. Suncoast Center also offers free counseling and support groups to survivors.
- Crime Victims Compensation: The State of Florida provides funds to victims of crime who meet application criteria to assist with medical bills, counseling, relocation, etc.
