In light of the continued acts of violence and oppression in recent days and weeks, the Wellness Center would like to reaffirm our support for the USFSP community and extend our heartfelt sympathies to all those that have been impacted. We hope in this time of unrest, communities from all backgrounds can find healing and peace.

Tragic events such as these can impact any and all of us in many ways, sometimes immediately and sometimes unexpectedly as time passes. Please know that the Wellness Center is a safe, inclusive place that can offer support to all USFSP students. Whether you are struggling with grief and trauma related to recent events, experiencing forms of oppression, or identify with others’ experiences, we are a resource for you.

For more information on how to cope with and stay resilient in times of tragedy, please see the following information from the American Psychological Association
