Application Instructions
1. Apply for admission selecting USF St. Petersburg as your preferred campus, and print your confirmation page.
2. Pay your non-refundable $30 application fee.
3. Send your official high school transcripts. If you have taken any Dual Enrollment courses, please send your post-secondary transcript.
4. Send your official SAT or ACT directly from the testing agency. If you graduated from high school after 2005, please include writing subscore.
If you are transferring fewer than 60 credits, please send:
- Official high school transcript.
- Official transcript from each college or university attended (current up to time of application).
- SAT or ACT directly from the testing agency. If you graduated from high school after 2005, please include writing subscore.
If you are transferring 60 or more credits, please send:
- Official transcript from each college or university attended (current up to time of application).
3. Submit a Statement of Financial Responsibility.
4. If you are transferring fewer than 60 credits, submit your transcripts showing subjects and grades from the first year of secondary work to the time of application. International transcripts that are not from English-speaking countries (see list below) must be evaluated by a foreign transcript evaluation service.
5. If you are not from an English-speaking country (see list below), please submit a minimum TOEFL score of 79 (internet-based test) or 550 (written test), or minimum IELTS score of 6.5 taken within two years of your desired term of entry.
Note: Positive results on the SAT (Critical Reading and Writing) or ACT (English/Writing and Reading) may be used to waive the TOEFL/IELTS requirement. Send your official SAT or ACT directly from the testing agency. If you graduated from high school after 2005, please include writing subscore.
6. If you currently reside in the U.S., submit your Visa Clearance Form.

Application Priority Deadlines
Prospective students who submit completed admissions files by the dates below will receive full consideration for the term requested. The admissions files requirements for freshman, transfer and international applicants are described in the drop-down boxes above. Although we may accept applications and required documents past these dates, we cannot guaurantee final decisions in time for the requested terms.
