Doing Business in Europe
Destinations: Paris and London

London: Panoramio Map and Images Paris: Panoramio Map and Images

Dates
The program will run from July 27 to August 7, 2010 (two days after the end of Summer C session).

Program Highlights
The global nature of the world economy highlights the importance of business students learning about, and experiencing first hand, the nature of international business.  Visits with host government institutions, major multinational corporations, as well as local host country businesses will offer students insight not provided in any other learning environment.  Students will also gain cross-cultural experiences that are vital in international business.

This study abroad program will visit two of Europe’s most visited and beautiful cities.  Paris and London offer students the opportunity to explore the history and culture of Europe as well as the vibrant nature of two of the most historic European economies.  Students will tour multiple local or international businesses and/or government institutions.

5 nights in Paris, France - The capital city is the largest in France and widely regarded as one of the most beautiful in Europe.  Paris is also one of the worlds top business and cultural centers.

5 nights London, England - The capital city of England and the UK and the largest GDP city in Europe.  London is a leading world financial center and one of the most visited cities in Europe.

Students registering for MAN 4600 and the Study Abroad trip will register for Summer C and complete 5 weeks of classes at USFSP prior to leaving the country.  All assignments and exams will be completed during this time.  The remaining 15 hours of class time will be experienced abroad via presentations, discussions and tours of various government, business, and cultural venues.
