About Us

STREAMS or Supporting Talented and Remarkable Environmental And Marine Science Students is a scholarship program designed to assist those who are of financial need and an Environmental Science and Policy or Marine Science major. This program is designed to increase the number of bright, low-income underrepresented groups (specifically women and minorities) in geoscience disciplines, Environmental and Marine Science, located at the University of South Florida St. Petersburg (USFSP) campus. In order to achieve this goal, STREAMS will utilize National Science Foundation Scholarship funds to recruit, retain, and support these students through graduation with a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science and Policy and continue into a Master’s Program in Environmental Science or Marine Science.
