Faculty Research Council
The USF St. Petersburg (USFSP) Research Council is a standing committee in the Faculty Senate. The Research Council advises the Regional Vice Chancellor (RVC) for Academic Affairs who functions as the Chief Research Officer on policies, procedures, and matters of interest relating to research and creative activity at USF St. Petersburg. Duties and responsibilities include and are not limited to:
The College are represented on the Council by two tenure-track faculty members. One representative is appointed from the Poynter Library; and the RVC for Academic Affairs serves as an ex-officio member. Research Council 2009-2010
Members of the Research Council serve two-year terms on a rotating basis. Monthly meetings are scheduled for the last Friday of the month, September through April of the academic year. Proceedings of Research Council Meetings are posted on the Faculty Senate's web site.
