08-0046P DEALING IN STOLEN PROPERTY 1/24/08
On this date at approximately 6:25PM a witness reported to USF Police of seeing a white male near the Williams House carrying a bicycle and acting suspicious. Officers made contact with the subject and noticed that a U-lock was secured to the bike preventing it from be being ridden. After questioning it was determine the suspect was in possession of stolen property. The bike was later returned to the owner.
Officers Dye and Ewing investigated, case status, cleared with an arrest.

08-0048P DISORDERLY CONDUCT, CARRYING A CONCEALED WEAPON, IMPROPER EXHIBITION OF A DANGEROUS WEAPON 1/25/08
On this date at approximately 2:15AM USF Police was advised of a fight in progress on the 6th floor of RHO. Once there the Officer and an RA proceeded to to the 6th floor. Once the elevator opened both were confronted with a white male student bleeding from his hand,(which was later determined to be unintentionally self-inflicted from a broken bottle)with a large knife in his hand arguing with another white male student. The Officer gave the command to drop the knife and the subject complied.
SPPD assisted.
Officer Dye investigated, case status, cleared with two arrest.

08-0052P GRAND THEFT AUTO 01/26/08
On this date at approximately 7:33PM the theft of a USF vehicle was reported. A USf staff member advised that he had parked the vehicle in lot
13 at about 5:30PM on 1/26/08. Later the vehicle was recovered by St.
Petersburg Police abandoned at 27 Avenue South near 7th Avenue South with a flat right front tire.
Along with SPPD, Sgt. Spiuglia investigated, case status, closed.
