1. 06-0529P Attempted Grand Theft / Auto 10/26/06
On this date at approximately 3:15 PM, a female USF Staff Member reported the attempted theft of her 2005 Dodge van from lot 2.The ignition had been tampered with and $2.00 in change was taken. The vehicle is valued at about $17,000.00.
Officer Young investigated. Case inactive.
2. 06-0530P Criminal Mischief 10/27/06
On this date at about 4:14 AM a USF female student reported an unknown person threw applesauce on a door in RHO causing damage to a USF bulletin board valued at $5.00.
Officer Ewing investigated. Case inactive.
3. 06-0531P Trespass Arrest 10/27/06
On this date at approximately 10:01, AM a Non-USF male that had been trespassed from campus previously was located on the 3rd floor of COB. The subject was subsequently arrested for trespass after warning.
Officer Mattingly investigated. Cleared with an arrest.
4. 06-0534P Petit Theft 10/28/06
On this date at approximately 9:54 PM, a Non-USF female reported her purse, containing credit cards and an IPOD, missing from CAC. The items are valued at about $715.00
Officer Lickenfelt investigated. Case inactive.
5. 06-0535P Suspended License Arrest 10/27/06
On this date at approximately 11:27 PM, a Non-USF male was involved in a traffic crash in the rear of COQ. Subject was found to have been knowingly operating the vehicle with a suspended license, and was subsequently arrested.
Officer Lickenfelt investigated. Case cleared with arrest.
6. 06-0536P Possession of Cannabis Arrest 10/28/06
On this date at approximately 3:30 AM, a female USF employee saw a non-USF male acting suspiciously in the area of RHO. The subject was found to be in possession of cannabis and was subsequently arrested.
Officer Lickenfelt investigated. Cleared with an arrest.
7. 06-0537P Petit Theft 10/28/06
On this date at approximately 2:09 AM, a USF staff member reported that several food items were missing from a vending machine at RHO. The items are valued at about $8.15
Sergeant Spicuglia investigated. Case inactive.
8. 06-0546P Arson Arrest 10/30/06
On this date at approximately 2:29 AM, a male USF student was involved in an altercation and set fire to a bulletin board and door in RHO. The Florida State Fire Marshal responded and arrested the subject. Charges on the subject for battery on two female USF students, connected with the same incident, have also been filed by the State Attorney's Office. There were no injuries from the fire, and damage was estimated at approximately $450.00.
Officer Lickenfelt and Detective Randy St. Clair (State Fire Marshal) investigated. Cleared with arrest.
