The purpose of crime alert bulletins is to inform campus citizens of incidents or activities occurring in the community, which may pose a threat to their safety and security.

ATTENTION:
ARMED ROBBERY
OCCURRED OFF CAMPUS, CORNER OF 5TH AVE AND 1ST STREET SOUTH
On 07/24/03 at approximately 5:00 p.m., the USF Police Department received a report of an armed robbery at the corner of 5th Ave and 1st St south, just off campus in the City of St. Petersburg. The victim reported that two African American males approximately 15 years of age in a white 4 door Volkswagen Jetta drove up to him on 1st St. South. The driver displayed a small revolver, and forced the victim to surrender his wallet. The suspects then drove away northbound on 1st St. There were no injuries to the victim.
