Transfer and Returning Students


Please read the information on this page carefully before registering. If you have any questions, please visit the Orientation FAQ page.

College is an exciting and challenging time, and although you are already familiar with college life, USF St. Petersburg will be different from your previous college. Because we want you to be successful at your new home, we require that all new transfer students attend a transfer orientation session.

At transfer orientation, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Meet with an Academic Advisor and register for courses
  • Receive information about the many resources available to USF St. Petersburg students
  • Complete university business, such as getting your USF card or attending a student financial aid session
  • Learn how to use and navigate Blackboard and OASIS
  • Connect with other transfer students who will be entering USF St. Petersburg
  • Become more familiar with USF St. Petersburg
