New Student Convocation Convocation brings new first year students and their families together with faculty and staff to mark a new beginning. Convocation and commencement are bookends, signifying traditional acknowledgment of milestones in the academic journey. The ceremony will include remarks from Vice-Chancellor of Academic Affairs, Dr. Norine Noonan and student leaders. Convocation will be held on Sunday, August 21 at 2:00 p.m. in the Campus Activities Center. Students must arrive by 1:00 p.m. in business casual clothing. The ceremony will take place promptly at 2:00 p.m. Please RSVP to 727-873-4754 or orientation@usfsp.edu. Due to space restrictions, parties are limited to four.
