GMAT Prep Course

Enroll in the USFSP GMAT Prep Course taught by experienced instructors who will help you prepare for test content, question types, and strategies. This comprehensive course spans over 4 Saturdays and is offered 3 times a year.  Students have the option to enroll in Math, Verbal or both sections of the course.

Courses will be held on campus at USF St. Petersburg.  Classroom location will be sent to those who register.

Course Text

We use the latest edition of the Official Guide for GMAT Review from the Graduate Management Admission Council textbook (2017 Edition) in all USFSP GMAT Prep Courses (ISBN 978-119-34762-0). Students are responsible for purchasing their own copy of the book prior to the start of the course. E-text versions of the book are not sufficient for this course, please purchase the hard copy text.

Please note that parking is monitored 24 hours a day and 7 days a week on the USFSP campus. You will need to purchase a parking pass from Parking Services or pay to park in a metered area. When purchasing a visitor pass, you will need to create a guest account and then enter all of your personal and vehicle information before you will be able to buy it. Please remember to purchase a visitor pass for each day that you are attending class. Alternatively you can purchase a day pass from the kiosk on the ground level of the parking garage each day you come to campus.

The University of South Florida St. Petersburg offers a USFSP GMAT Prep Course Rebate for those who have met all of the following criteria:

  1. Registered and paid for the GMAT prep course
  2. Completed the GMAT Prep course
  3. Fully applied with non-refundable $30 application fee, GMAT score and all other required supplemental materials, admitted and enrolled in the USFSP MBA or Master of Accountancy program within two semesters from the time the GMAT Prep Course was offered (MBA Essentials Modules and undergraduate prerequisites to the MAcc are considered meeting the enrollment criteria for this requirement)**
  4. Completed the GMAT Prep course rebate form.

Note: Applicants do not have to have a completed undergraduate degree to apply for a graduate program. Provisional admission can be made with a minimum of three years coursework.

**GMAT Prep Course participants prior to June 2017 are required to have submitted a complete application to the MBA or Master of Accountancy (with GMAT and all required supplemental materials), but admission and enrollment to either program is not required. Complete applications must be submitted by the following deadlines in order to be rebate eligible:

June 2016 GMAT Prep Course: November 1, 2016
Sept/Oct 2016 GMAT Prep Course: April 1, 2017
Jan/Feb 2017 GMAT Prep Course: July 1, 2017

Course registrants who complete the above requirements are eligible for a rebate of their registered course fee only (maximum $450). Cost of textbook and parking will not be rebated.  Allow 7-10 working days for credit card rebates from the date of approval and 6 to 8 weeks for cash and check rebates.
