We are so happy that you are interested in University Student Housing at the University of South Florida St. Petersburg! This is where you can create your home away from home in one of our residence halls.

Why should YOU live on campus?

Convenience! You are minutes away from your classes, the library, the parking garage, Campus Activities Center, the Fitness Center, Publix Grocery Store, the bookstore, and many other places that you will frequent while being a student on USFSP's campus.

Academic Success! Research shows that students who live on campus excel more academically, and graduate swifter than those who live off campus.

No Monthly Bill! Students pay for the housing on a semester basis. There is no need to save up for a monthly rent, high speed internet access, gas, electricity, furniture, water, and extended basic cable. You do not have to worry about escalating utilities costs during the seasons.

It's Cheaper! You will not be able to find an all inclusive suite in downtown Saint Petersburg for the price that we offer. Our suites are fully furnished, all utilities are included, and we provide extended basic cable, and wireless internet.

Safety! We have Resident Assistants and a professional staff member on call every night of the year. We have cameras on each of our interior and exit doors and educate residents about personal responsibility regarding safety. Lastly our University of South Florida Saint Petersburg Police Department do community rounds in the building. We promote good decision making and realize that safety is a basic need for students.

Get Involved! Student organizations and leadership opportunities are at your fingertips. Organizations such as the Residence Hall Association and Student Government welcome your participation. Also feel free to put together your own student organization.

Make Friends! Your classmates are down the hall and on the floor above and below you. Organize a study group! Watch television together, participate in intramural sports, or host a game night! Your peers have never been so convenient and easily accessible.

You Are Responsible For You! You don't have to worry about the roommate that doesn't come up with their share of the rent and utility bills. You are only responsible for ensuring payment of your own housing fee.

College Experience! Live and learn here! After completing their college career, students reflect upon their residence hall experience. The late night study group, ordering pizza at 4am, late night talks, and positive relationships made all can be experienced here in University Student Housing.
