Two faculty members received Quality Matters (QM) certifications for their online courses in December.

Dr. Rebecca Harris, instructor of Economics in the Kate Tiedemann College of Business, received the QM certification for her online course Environmental Economics (ECP 3302). The course meets the highest national standards for online course quality and design.

Dr. Christina Salnaitis, instructor of Psychology in the College of Arts and Sciences, received the certification for her online course Cognitive Psychology (EXP 4680). Her course has been found to meet the highest national standards for online course quality and design.

The courses are now listed on the 2016 QM directory of certified courses from colleges and universities across the U.S. The QM Seal of Recognition and information relating to the course quality certification will now be displayed on the home page for their courses.

Other USFSP faculty who received QM certifications in 2016 include Drs. Steve Diasio, Mark Durand, Vikki Gaskin-Butler, James McHale, Judithanne Scourfield McLauchlan, and juris doctors David Snyder, Nikki Stowell, and Carol Vance.
