USF St. Petersburg will host the St. Petersburg Pier Approach Design Team’s discussion of the Pier Approach project on Tuesday, March 15. The free public event will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. in the University Student Center Ballroom.

The design team for St. Petersburg’s Pier Approach — W Architecture and Landscape Architecture and Wannemacher Jensen Architects — seeks feedback from the community on aspects of the project. This informal roundtable discussion will provide a brief overview of their initial concepts and will allow for public ideas, input and feedback. The Pier Approach will connect the downtown core to the Pier with an active, connected and coordinated sequence of facilities and venues, using the completed Downtown Waterfront Master Plan as a guide.

On-street parking is available near the USFSP Student Center. Free parking will be available in the USFSP Fifth Avenue South Parking Garage.
