While construction preparations have already begun, the USFSP Student Life Center is scheduled to undergo renovations beginning in mid-May. Among other improvements, the changes aim to enhance student engagement by increasing awareness of the opportunities available to them.

“There are many ways for students to become involved, by serving on the Harborside Activities Board, in Student Government, and through the Multicultural Center,” said Matt Morrin, director of Student Life and Engagement. “We hope this new building design will spark the interest of students who are walking by.”

Some of the key changes to the facility include enclosure of the front patio to create a new, more inviting main entrance; relocation of the fitness center entrance to the main entrance; creation of additional student lounge space; and expansion of the Multicultural Center. Fitness Center hours will be affected this summer. For more information, please visit www.usfsp/campusrec.
