Terry Tomalin, Outdoors Editor for the Tampa Bay Times and an adjunct professor at USFSP, died on Thursday afternoon, May 19, following a heart attack. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Terry’s wife, Kanika, and their two children, Kai and Nia.

TomalinThe Tampa Bay Times posted this piece about Terry: http://www.tampabay.com/news/obituaries/times-outdoors-editor-terry-tomalin-dies-after-heart-attack/2278148

Terry was well loved by many. Our students learned much from the man his dean, Frank Biafora, says, “brought Florida Studies to life.”

Sincerely,

Sophia Wisniewska
