USFSP is equipped with a state-of-the-art VoIP system. Powered by Cisco, this network provides many enhanced features for modern communication.

Dialing Instructions

As with many network environments, it is necessary to dial 9 before making any outside calls (except 911). All branches of the USF system can be easily reached via the extension system describe below.

Voicemail is available to all USFSP employees and departments with an individual extension.

To begin using the telephone voicemail system, users need to enroll as a subscriber, which is done by phone. During enrollment, users must record and provide information about themselves. This enrollment process can be done by calling the voicemail system from within the USFSP campus or from a remote location.

After subscribing, users will be able to access our voicemail system to check or send messages and to modify a variety of voicemail features and options.

Calling area

The Campus Computing VoIP phone network has, by default, a regional calling area that Map of calling areaexpands from about Pasco County south to Sarasota county. This free calling area encompasses the entire Tampa Market Area and all USF campus locations — Tampa, area code 813; St. Petersburg, area code 727; Lakeland, area code 863; and Sarasota/Bradenton, area code 941.
