Our Mission:
The mission of the World Languages Program is to develop students’ communicative skills in their chosen language(s) of study and to provide them with a better understanding of other cultures as well as their own, through the study of language, culture, history, and literature. We strongly recommend students to minor in Spanish or French to complement their degree in Business, Education, Anthropology, Political Science, Psychology, or Health Sciences.
The Program:
- offers Minors in Spanish and French to complement various campus degrees.

offers on campus and online classes in Arabic, French, and Spanish to satisfy the B.A. language requirement. See Oasis for a list of courses.
_ conducts and encourages research, scholarship and creative work in modern languages and literatures.
