Criminology Internships

Internships provide students with a supervised experience in the practical work of the criminal justice system and thus are an integral part of the Criminology program.  An internship bridges the gap between academia and the professional world so that students may begin to apply theoretical knowledge and develop an awareness of the responsibilities to be encountered upon entering the field of criminal justice.

Students have completed internships with the St. Petersburg Police Department, the Pinellas County Sherrif, and many other local agencies.
