Employers interested in a student intern from USF St. Petersburg please click here.
Internship Overview |
Internships provide valuable career-related experience and a chance to test out your career choice. They typically require a one-semester commitment, and may continue until graduation if acceptable to both employer and student. Internships may be paid or unpaid, and the option to earn academic credit.
The Career Center has created an Internship Guide for Students to learn the basics of an internship and how to find one. |
For Credit Internship |
While paid, not-for-credit internships may begin anytime during the semester, internships for credit are linked to the academic calendar.
The Career Center does not offer internship credit. In order to receive academic credit you must check with the academic department of your major. Each college and department has their own requirements.
