Thank you for your interest in the USF St. Petersburg Career Center’s Alumni Career Services. Alumni Career Services are designed to assist you in the development of career and job search strategies critical for today’s job market.
As a USF alumnus, you are welcome to utilize Career Center services and meet with a career counselor to assist you with career transitions, planning and implementing career goals and conducting
a self-directed job search.
Although Alumni Career Services includes access to current employment opportunities and participation in venues in which to connect with employers, it is not designed to be an employment or “placement” service.

| Services available to all alumni for FREE |
There are various events that are always open to USF Alumni. Visit our website for dates, times and locations. Notices of Events are also posted and sent through Recruit-a-Bull.
- Career Fairs - provide a venue to meet with various employers to discuss employment opportunities
- Employer Information Sessions -
company representative hold information sessions to provide an overview of their organization and answer questions. Alumni are invited to information sessions when the employer has indicated an interest in hiring alumni.

| If you graduated within 3 months |
The following services are FREE for a period of 3 months after graduation:
- Job Search Workshop - Access to 1 workshop. See below for description, dates available and registration information. Contact the Career Center to obtain the Code for Free Registration.

| Career Services available |
Career Counseling & Job Search Coaching Appointments with a career counselor can provide assistance with career planning issues, career assessments, critiques of resume and cover letters, interview strategies, skills identification, self-directed job search techniques, networking, and strategies for tapping into the hidden job market.
Alumni status will be confirmed and Pre-payment is required before delivery of Alumni Career Services. See Payment Options below. NOTE: Service Fees are taxable which are not included in the prices.
Service Fees:
- Recruit-a-Bull - access to our online jobs database = $50 for 6 months
- Individual Counseling & Coaching session is 45 minutes (this can be in-person or via Skype)
1 Session = $25
3 Session Package = $60
- Resume Critique = $25, includes initial review with feedback and 1 follow-up email to review updates
- Career Assessments = $25 each
- Job Search Workshop = $50 which includes a visitor parking pass
NOTE: New Graduates have priority registration.
This 3 hour workshop will discuss the job search process including resume writing, researching employers and the hidden job market along with preparing for interviews.
The workshop will be held on the following Saturdays from 9am - 12pm. Locations vary and are posted with registration.

Please be aware that these fees entitle you to services only at the USFSP Career Center. If you want to access alumni career services from another USF campus, you should contact their Career Center for their policies and fees.

Online: We accept Visa, Mastercard, and Check (E-check) for online payments.

In-Person: If you prefer to pay by Cash, please stop by the Career Center to obtain a cash payment form to process with the Cashier's Office.

| Non-USF Alumni |
Career services and resources are only available to USF alumni with a minimum of a bachelor's degree. Non-USF alumni should contact their Alma mater to determine what alumni career services are available. |
| Community and Other Resources |
USF Alumni Association - The USF Alumni Association may have great venues in which to network with other USF alumni along with special discounts and events exclusively for USF alumni. Please note that the Career Center’s Alumni Career Service Program fee is a separate fee from the USF Alumni Association fee for membership.
Worknet Pinellas - develops and leads an effective, efficient and integrated business driven workforce system, providing comprehensive and responsive services to the County’s citizens and business community.
FRED (Florida Research and Economic Database) -
This website was specifically designed for job seekers, students, employers, and other seeking to explore local labor markets. This system provides fast access to a complete set of employment tools in one web site.
USDOL (U.S. Department of Labor) -
This site provides a variety of information and services the Department of Labor (DOL) offers job seekers including Job & Training Information, Layoff Resources and Employment Data.
