Professional Development Sessions
Topics: Resume Critique, Elevator Speech and Professional Dress |
Date: Thursday, January 25, 2012
Time: 1:00-5:00pm
Location: Davis Hall 130
Description: Employers will critique student resumes and provide feedback regarding their communication skills and quality of their elevator speeches.
A separate workshop will occur simultaneously teaching students about professional attire. This portion of the session will be hosted by USFSP faculty and staff. |
| Career Exploration Week |
Date: Tuesday, March 27, 2012 (College of Arts and Sciences) and Thursday, March 29, 2012 (College of Business)
Time: 3:00-6:00pm
Location: Davis Hall 130
Description: USF Alumni will be present to discuss career options and answer student questions about career paths within majors.

| Information Sessions |
Description: Information Sessions offer an opportunity for the employer to provide information about their organization (ex. current opportunities, general profile information, work culture, career paths, job benefits, interview process, etc.).
Information Sessions can be scheduled according to employer availability. The average length of Information Sessions is one hour and the best time to host this event is in the late afternoon or early evening. |
| Classroom Presentations |
Description: Employers can present on topics such as career fair preparations, professionalism in the work place, interviewing techniques, etc.
Presentations must be approved by a faculty member. |
