Police seek three suspects in campus robbery

Police are looking for three men who stole a bicycle from a student late Saturday night outside the Science and Technology Building.

No weapon was used and no one was injured in the incident, which began about 9:30 p.m. at a bike rack on the north side of the building. The suspects quickly fled the campus with the bicycle, a black Giant mountain bike. The student, who lives off campus, contacted campus police, who arrived immediately. St. Petersburg police were alerted and began an investigation.

University Police ask anyone with information about the incident or the suspects to call acting Lt. Jon Dye at (727) 873-4140.
