Free training sessions on effective online communication

ST. PETERSBURG, FL (March 15, 2012) — The Department of Journalism & Media Studies at the University of South Florida St. Petersburg will hold free training sessions for the public on effective online communication.The half-day session March 31 will include strategies and tactics to communicate visually, publish an effective blog and use social media to promote your business or personal brand. Participants also can meet faculty from the Journalism &Media Studies department and learn more about our degrees: a M.A. in Journalism and Media Studies (face-to-face); aM.A. in Digital Journalism and Design (online); and an undergraduate degree in journalism (face-to-face).The event will be Saturday, March 31, 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Davis Memorial Hall, Room 130 at USFSP. Speakers will include USFSP Journalism & Media Studies faculty and other experts in the field of online communications.
