Learning leadership is a lot like leadership itself, a relational process of people coming together to accomplish positive change. It is best learned experientially, with all the wrinkles and wrong turns that happen in the real world. We design and curate experiences for students, introducing them to theories and concepts that support these experiences, and create the space and time for reflection and experimentation.
The skills and knowledge Leadership House students gain will live with them far beyond their first year. Students learn about themselves and grow personally and professionally. They learn about USFSP and the city of St. Petersburg, and how to influence positive change in their community. Skills learned in this program benefit students of all majors, empowering them to be leaders in their own domain.
The Lowdown: Students must…
